Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a full-service general practice and urgent care hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team, providing care to dogs and cats in a collaborative, doctor-led environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide high-quality veterinary care across general practice and urgent care services, including wellness exams, diagnostics, internal medicine, dentistry, and surgery. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive medical assessments, diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, developing treatment plans, and carrying out surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, and soft tissue or orthopedic surgeries. You will also be responsible for building strong client relationships, educating pet owners, and collaborating closely with the support team to ensure excellent patient outcomes. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday to Sunday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It is a modern facility equipped with advanced technology including ultrasound, digital dental radiographs, cold laser therapy, and a dedicated surgical suite. Services include preventive care, dental care, surgery, cardiology, oncology, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, ophthalmology, radiology, pain management, and laboratory and diagnostic testing, as well as referral services and urgent care. The practice fosters a supportive, collaborative, and drama-free culture, backed by a wider network that emphasizes professional growth, autonomy, and high standards of veterinary medicine.
Team
The team currently consists of 1 DVM supported by a great tenured support staff, creating a close-knit and collaborative working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
