Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, providing care for dogs and cats within a well-established small animal practice known for delivering high-quality, comprehensive veterinary medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
This position offers full-time or part-time flexibility. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering a broad range of small animal medical care, including wellness, diagnostics, surgery, and urgent care. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients, performing surgical procedures, and communicating effectively with clients to provide guidance on treatment plans and preventative care. The role also involves collaborating with a large, experienced clinical team and contributing to a high standard of patient care in a structured and supportive environment. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This is a long-established small animal hospital providing comprehensive veterinary care since 1974, with a strong reputation for medical excellence and client trust. The practice is AAHA accredited, reflecting adherence to rigorous standards across surgery, patient care, diagnostic imaging, and anesthesiology. The hospital offers a wide range of services including wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, and urgent care, as well as additional capabilities in behavior modification, acupuncture, and holistic medicine. The environment is professionally organized and focused on maintaining high clinical standards, offering exposure to diverse and complex cases.

Team
The hospital has 8 DVMs and a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and highly supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
