Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing veterinary care to cats, dogs, and exotics, and they are seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm and closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and the role can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This position covers the full scope of general practice responsibilities. The hospital is looking for a DVM with a passion and interest in surgery, dentistry, and future leadership opportunities.
Practice Details
You will have the opportunity to work with advanced dental equipment and handle a variety of surgical cases. Equipment includes digital X-ray, advanced dental equipment, monitoring equipment for ECG, pulse oximetry, temperature, and respiration, as well as Idexx lab equipment for in-house diagnostics. The hospital is Fear-Free and Cat-Friendly and provides a full-service general practice.
Team
This is a one-doctor hospital supported by a tight-knit team.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
