Introduction
Our client is a hospital proudly serving Asheville and the surrounding area, combining advanced medical technology with a compassionate, patient-centered approach. This AAHA-accredited and Fear Free Certified hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian and is open to discussing both full-time and part-time schedules. The practice sees cats and dogs and is looking for an experienced DVM to join its established team.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients while delivering exceptional client communication and care. Daily responsibilities include performing diagnostic procedures, developing treatment plans, and carrying out surgical procedures. The role requires a veterinarian who is confident in providing high-quality medical care and building strong relationships with clients and their pets. This opportunity is suited to experienced DVMs.
Practice Details
This state-of-the-art facility is designed to support the highest standards of modern veterinary medicine. The hospital features separate cat and dog areas, a comfortable waiting area, cutting-edge diagnostic equipment, an on-site laboratory for rapid results, and a fully stocked pharmacy. The practice is accredited by AAHA, Fear Free, and AAFP, reflecting its commitment to excellence in patient care. Services offered include wellness care, internal medicine, laser therapy, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedic surgery, geriatric care, and diagnostics. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 8:30pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and is closed on Sundays.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
