Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a privately owned veterinary hospital owned by veterinarians, seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a well-equipped hospital providing a broad range of services, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and supporting positive outcomes for patients and clients alike.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will practice high-quality medicine while exercising sound clinical judgment and collaborating with hospital leadership to support a positive hospital culture. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostics, developing and implementing treatment plans, performing surgical procedures and overseeing anesthesia, and interpreting radiographs and laboratory results. The hospital is committed to creating schedules that promote sustainability and professional balance, with the specific schedule to be discussed between the doctor and the hospital to determine the best fit for both parties.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on weekends. The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including advanced surgical services, advanced in-house and reference laboratory services, and non-invasive diagnostic imaging such as ultrasound and digital radiology. The hospital offers modern facilities and equipment, modern handling techniques, and a welcoming atmosphere. Services include wellness care, senior care, dentistry, diagnostics, in-house laboratory testing, surgery, including orthopaedic surgery, and soft tissue surgery.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a fantastic support staff team. The hospital environment is designed to support veterinarians in delivering exceptional patient care alongside a dedicated and collaborative team.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
