Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on a full-time basis, working with dogs and cats in a modern small animal practice.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical care across a broad range of services including wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, surgery, and urgent care. Responsibilities include examining patients, diagnosing and treating illnesses, performing surgical procedures, and developing tailored treatment plans. You will also be expected to build strong client relationships, educate pet owners, maintain accurate medical records, and collaborate closely with the wider team to deliver excellent patient outcomes. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
This is a state-of-the-art small animal hospital established in 2018, known for delivering compassionate care and maintaining a strong reputation within the local community. The hospital provides comprehensive services including wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, surgical procedures, and urgent care, allowing for a varied caseload from routine to more complex cases. The facility is described as clean, modern, and intentionally designed to create a welcoming and calming environment for both pets and clients. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and is closed on Sunday. The practice emphasizes professional development, mentorship, and career growth within a supportive structure.
Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
