Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital in Ashburn, Virginia, providing comprehensive care for dogs and cats and seeking an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. Established in 2018, the hospital focuses on delivering veterinary medicine with care and compassion while providing high-quality medical outcomes in a welcoming environment for pets and their owners. The opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a broad small animal caseload, leading patient care from diagnosis through treatment while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. Responsibilities include wellness and preventive medicine, testing and diagnostics, urgent care, blood analysis, X-rays, medication, and surgical care. Surgical responsibilities include spay and neuter procedures, soft tissue surgery, CCL repair, mass removal, orthopedic surgery, dental surgery, and fracture repair. The veterinarian will clearly communicate clinical findings and treatment plans to clients, helping them make informed decisions about their pets’ care, while collaborating with the wider veterinary and paraprofessional team. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is a state-of-the-art medical facility designed to provide a clean, beautiful, inviting, and calming environment for pets and clients. Its broad medical scope includes wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, surgical procedures, and urgent care, providing veterinarians with the resources to manage a variety of cases within the hospital. Services include blood analysis, X-rays, medication, surgery, fracture repair, spay and neuter procedures, soft tissue surgery, CCL repair, mass removal, orthopedic surgery, and dental surgery. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM, and is closed on Sunday.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
