Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian for a well-established small animal clinic. The hospital operates within a modern 6,000+ sq. ft. facility and supports a collaborative, client-centered approach. This role is open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital offers medical appointments Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with evening appointments available by booking only on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The veterinarian will provide high-quality small animal medicine and surgery while delivering compassionate, individualized patient care. Responsibilities include effective client communication and active collaboration within a team-oriented culture. The role is suitable for both experienced clinicians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with an Aoka (Alpha 6) ultrasound with three probes, digital radiography including dental, a video gastroscope, a cold laser therapy unit, an Ellman radio surgical unit, and a fully equipped in-house laboratory. Services offered include medical care, surgical care, dental care, wellness and vaccination, alternative therapy, patient monitoring, grooming, health screening tests, preventive services, nutritional services, laser therapy, spaying, neutering, soft tissue surgery, and an in-house pharmacy.
Team
The practice operates with two doctors and an experienced support team that includes technicians, assistants, and client service staff within a collaborative environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
