Introduction
A well-established veterinary hospital in Arvada, Colorado is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced team of five veterinarians. Serving the local community since 1967, the practice provides comprehensive care for companion animals alongside services for exotic pets and small mammals, creating a varied and engaging caseload. The hospital combines the feel of a long-standing community practice with access to the resources and professional development of a wider veterinary network. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm, with the hospital closed on Sundays, providing a schedule without late evenings.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide comprehensive medical and surgical care across a diverse caseload, including preventative healthcare, sick-patient appointments, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, and more complex medical cases. The hospital also provides emergency care during its operating hours, offering additional clinical variety, while opportunities are available to work with exotic pets and small mammals for veterinarians with an interest in these areas. You’ll have the autonomy to develop appropriate treatment plans, educate clients, and build long-term relationships while collaborating closely with fellow doctors and the wider clinical team.

Practice Details
The hospital is a full-service facility equipped to support a broad range of medical, diagnostic, and surgical cases, with services spanning wellness and preventative medicine, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgery, emergency presentations, and exotic pet medicine. Having cared for the Arvada community for more than five decades, the practice benefits from an established and loyal client base while continuing to invest in contemporary veterinary medicine. Doctors also have access to continuing education, structured mentorship, internal specialty consultations, and wider clinical resources to support both challenging cases and long-term professional development.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
