Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital based in Arnold, Maryland, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their established and well-respected team. Working Hours / Rota
This position can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis, allowing flexibility to suit individual scheduling preferences. The hospital is open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The practice is closed on Sundays, supporting a healthy work-life balance for the veterinary team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide exceptional medical, surgical, and preventive care to dogs and cats, with the opportunity to work alongside and learn from experienced veterinarians. Daily responsibilities include performing wellness exams, surgeries, dental procedures, and diagnostics, as well as fostering strong relationships with clients through open and compassionate communication. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates seeking mentorship, with support from multiple DVMs across partner hospitals nearby.

The hospital is fully equipped with modern medical technology and diagnostic tools to ensure comprehensive patient care. Facilities include advanced diagnostic equipment, surgical and dental suites, and in-house laboratory capabilities. The practice is Fear Free Certified and emphasizes low-stress handling techniques to create a calm experience for patients and clients. Services offered include wellness and preventive care, dental care, surgery, advanced diagnostics, microchipping, emergency care, and more.

Team
The hospital currently has a team of three veterinarians supported by a brilliant and experienced group of support staff. The environment is highly collaborative, mentorship-focused, and driven by a shared commitment to continuous growth and excellence. The team is further supported by six additional veterinarians across two nearby sister hospitals, ensuring access to a broad network of expertise and resources.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
