Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, offering either full-time or part-time opportunities.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care, supporting a wide range of general practice services including wellness care, internal medicine, and surgery. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic workups, developing treatment plans, carrying out surgical procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records. You will also be expected to communicate effectively with clients, delivering transparent and personalized care, while collaborating closely with the team to ensure the highest standards of patient outcomes. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This is an AAHA-accredited hospital that is part of a group of nine accredited locations, reflecting a commitment to the highest standards of veterinary care. The practice offers a comprehensive range of services including wellness care, surgery, intensive care, senior care, imaging, dental care, puppy and kitten care, laser therapy, and internal medicine. The hospital emphasizes compassionate, transparent, and personalized care within a collaborative and supportive environment, supported by a strong staff-to-doctor ratio. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and is closed on Sunday.

Team
The team consists of 10 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, fostering a highly collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
