Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care, including wellness examinations, preventive medicine, diagnostic testing, advanced medical treatments, and surgical procedures. Clinical responsibilities include diagnosing and treating medical conditions, developing appropriate treatment plans, and performing procedures such as spaying and neutering, soft tissue surgery, and dental surgery. The role also involves managing patients requiring advanced medical attention, communicating clinical findings and treatment recommendations, and educating pet owners to support informed decisions about their animals’ health. Veterinarians will have the clinical freedom to uphold high standards of patient care while building lasting client relationships and collaborating with the wider veterinary team. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates will be considered for this position.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA-accredited and offers a comprehensive range of veterinary services, including wellness and preventive care, diagnostic testing, advanced medical care, behavioral therapy, pain management, and surgical procedures. Surgical capabilities include anesthesia, spaying and neutering, soft tissue surgery, and dental surgery. The hospital maintains rigorous clinical standards across patient care, diagnostic imaging, anesthesiology, surgical procedures, and emergency services, supported by established protocols focused on patient safety and quality medicine. Having served the Arlington community for several decades, the hospital benefits from an established client base and a strong reputation for veterinary care. Opening hours are Monday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with the hospital closed on Sundays.

The hospital has six DVMs and a great tenured support team, including established Associate Veterinarians and a dedicated Medical Director. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
