Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to join a companion animal practice on a full or part-time basis. The hospital provides preventive, medical, surgical, and diagnostic care for dogs and cats and is looking for a veterinarian committed to delivering high-quality patient care while building lasting relationships with clients and their pets. The position is open to both recent graduates and experienced veterinarians. The practice emphasizes preventive medicine, professional growth, veterinarian autonomy, and collaborative patient care within a supportive team environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for companion animals, with a strong focus on preventive medicine and wellness. Responsibilities include performing wellness examinations, vaccinations, diagnostics, medical treatments, surgery, maintaining accurate medical records, and educating clients on treatment plans and long-term health management. Clinical duties also include skin and coat care, nutrition counseling, parasite prevention and treatment, gastrointestinal diagnostics and treatment, general surgery, spays and neuters, digital radiology interpretation, microchipping, end-of-life care, and supporting patients through all life stages. The role also involves collaborating with veterinary support staff, fostering a positive hospital culture, practicing evidence-based medicine, and maintaining high ethical and medical standards. The opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The practice is equipped with digital radiology, in-house laboratory diagnostics, and an in-house veterinary pharmacy. Diagnostic capabilities support the evaluation and treatment of a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. Services offered include comprehensive wellness examinations, vaccinations, preventive healthcare, skin and coat care, nutrition counseling, parasite prevention and treatment, gastrointestinal diagnostics and treatment, general surgery, spays and neuters, diagnostic imaging, microchipping, DNA testing, in-house laboratory diagnostics, pharmacy services, hospice and end-of-life care, and drop-off services. The hospital promotes a culture centered on preventive medicine, evidence-based care, continuing education, community involvement, professional development, and veterinarian autonomy. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
