Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited small animal veterinary hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its established General Practice team. The hospital has been serving its local community for over 25 years, providing comprehensive veterinary care with an emphasis on individualized treatment plans and building lasting relationships with clients. The practice offers a welcoming, collaborative environment where clinical autonomy, professional development and high standards of patient care are encouraged.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive small animal care, including wellness and preventative medicine, vaccinations, diagnostics, dentistry, pain management, surgery and ongoing treatment of sick patients. Surgical responsibilities include routine spays and neuters alongside other surgical procedures, with opportunities to develop individual clinical interests. The role involves creating tailored treatment plans, educating clients and maintaining continuity of care for patients throughout their lives. The practice welcomes veterinarians at different stages of their careers, with mentorship and professional development opportunities available.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and offers a comprehensive range of medical, diagnostic and surgical services. Equipment includes digital radiography, ultrasound and an advanced in-house laboratory capable of performing complete blood counts, blood chemistry profiles, urinalysis, fecal examinations and heartworm testing, with many results available within minutes. Additional services include preventative dental care, wellness plans, pain management and feline boarding. The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, with Sundays closed. The practice maintains strong community connections through partnerships with local rescues and nonprofit organizations.

Team
The hospital has five DVMs supported by an experienced, long-standing veterinary support team. Skilled technicians help maintain an efficient appointment flow, allowing veterinarians to focus on patient care. The practice promotes a collaborative working environment where knowledge sharing, mentorship and clinical autonomy are encouraged, with structured onboarding and ongoing professional development available to support veterinarians throughout their careers.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
