Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a practice dedicated to small animal care, currently seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This clinic provides care for cats and dogs and is known for its commitment to clinical excellence, which is recognized locally and reflected in their excellent 4.8-star Google rating. The position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for a full scope of General Practice and Urgent Care duties, managing a varied caseload that includes routine wellness, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry and more urgent medical cases. Doctor hours are flexible and open to discussion. The role is suitable for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering an opportunity to develop or further refine clinical skills in a supportive environment.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. It is equipped with Digital X-Ray, Ultrasound, and Tonopen, among other equipment. The practice holds AAHA accreditation and offers a wide range of services including Urgent Care, Cryotherapy, Orthopedics, Cardiology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Endocrinology, Acupuncture, Laser Therapy, and a full range of general practice services. The caseload is diverse, and the clinic is supported by strong infrastructure that enables high-quality patient care.
Team
The team consists of 6 DVMs supported by a well-tenured group of support staff. The environment is stable and benefits from the experience and continuity of its team members.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
