Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This small animal practice provides care for dogs and cats and is focused on delivering comprehensive medical services in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, and is closed on Sunday. This is a part-time position.
Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, you will deliver a wide range of clinical services including wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, and both routine and advanced surgical procedures such as soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. You will work collaboratively with the team to provide high-quality, relationship-driven care, while also supporting client communication and education. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with access to mentorship and training programs to support professional development.
Practice Details
This full-service veterinary hospital has been providing medical care and boarding services for over 30 years and offers a broad range of services including wellness care, spay and neuter procedures, dental care, surgery, health certificates, boarding, diagnostics, nutrition counseling, and behavior counseling. The facility is equipped with a brand new ultrasound, a full-scale diagnostic laboratory, radiology department, large surgical and dental suites, orthopedic equipment, ECG/EKG, and IDEXX lab equipment. The practice emphasizes a culture of collaboration, mentorship, respect, and continuous learning, supported by structured training programs and an engaged management team.
Team
The hospital has 3 DVMs supported by a skilled and tenured support team, including dedicated technicians and assistants as well as an experienced client service team, creating a highly collaborative and well-supported working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
