Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. The practice is dedicated to delivering high-quality veterinary medicine and compassionate care while supporting the health and wellbeing of pets and their owners.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. The role is open to either full-time or part-time candidates.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care to a varied caseload of patients. The role involves conducting thorough examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing appropriate treatment plans. Responsibilities include performing routine surgical procedures, delivering preventive care and vaccinations, managing medical cases, prescribing medications, and maintaining accurate medical records in line with regulatory standards. The role also requires clear and compassionate communication with clients, ensuring pet owners understand diagnoses, treatment plans, and ongoing care requirements. You will collaborate closely with the clinical team to ensure efficient patient care while participating in ongoing professional development to maintain clinical excellence. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
At this full-service veterinary hospital, the focus is on providing the gold standard in veterinary care for animal companions. The practice offers a wide range of comprehensive veterinary services designed to keep pets healthy throughout every stage of life, from wellness exams and vaccinations to geriatric care. Diagnostic capabilities include digital radiography, ultrasound, and an in-house laboratory to support accurate and efficient patient assessment. The hospital also provides surgical services including specialized orthopedic procedures, soft tissue surgeries, ocular procedures, and spaying and neutering. The facility is designed to support the delivery of state-of-the-art medical care while maintaining a compassionate and service-focused approach for clients and their pets.

Team
The team includes four DVMs supported by a dedicated group of support staff. The environment is collaborative and supportive, with team members working closely together to deliver excellent patient care while maintaining a positive and team-oriented workplace culture.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
