Our client is a small animal hospital in Apopka, Florida, seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its well-established practice. The hospital provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats and has built a strong reputation for quality medicine and exceptional client service. The practice combines a modern facility and advanced technology with a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide medical and surgical care across a varied small animal caseload, with opportunities to work across preventive and primary care, advanced dental care, dermatology, diabetes management, diagnostics, general and routine surgery, geriatric medicine, hospitalization, intensive care, pain management, and emergency care. The veterinarian will work collaboratively with the wider team while developing trusted relationships with clients and contributing to high standards of patient care. The environment encourages teaching, learning, mentorship, and continued professional growth, making the position suitable for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is an AAHA-accredited practice with a modern facility and advanced technology supporting high-quality medical and surgical care. Equipment and resources include dental radiology, digital radiographs, EMR, cold and therapeutic laser therapy, EKG, Tonopen, an in-house laboratory, an in-house pharmacy, and an in-office surgical suite, alongside intensive care and isolation facilities. Services include advanced care, advanced dental care, dermatology, canine and feline diabetes care, preventive and primary care, allergy and itchy skin relief, anesthesia, dental care and dentistry, DNA breed testing, ear checks, emergency care, euthanasia services, full diagnostics, general surgery, geriatric medicine, health certificates and exams, hospice care, hospitalization, house calls, pain management, pet loss support, radiology, routine surgeries, and spays and neuters. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays.

The hospital has 3 DVMs alongside a great tenured support team. The support staff are friendly and compassionate, with a focus on creating a comfortable and caring experience for pets and their families. The working environment is collaborative and team-oriented, encouraging learning, mentorship, professional growth, knowledge sharing, and teamwork.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
