Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a practice hiring for an Associate Veterinarian role. The clinic delivers comprehensive veterinary care and is seeking an experienced veterinarian to support its established medical and surgical caseload.
Working Hours / Rota
The practice is open Monday through Saturday from 8am to 8pm, and Sunday from 10am to 8pm. The role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering a high standard of clinical care across a varied caseload. Duties include wellness exams, diagnostics, surgery, spaying and neutering, oral health care, prescription management, vaccinations, and preventive care for puppies, kittens, seniors, and adult pets. The role also involves urgent care cases during open hours, including presentations such as wounds, limping, gastrointestinal issues, infections, growths, rashes, urinary issues, poisoning, and other acute concerns. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian.
Practice Details
The practice offers a broad range of services including behavioral consultations, dermatology, diagnostics, oncology diagnostics, surgery, urgent care, nutritional counseling, microchipping, euthanasia, travel documentation, and comprehensive wellness care. The clinic supports a varied and engaging caseload within a professional clinical environment.
Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs and a great support staff, creating a collaborative and supportive working culture.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
