Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking to hire a Mixed Animal Veterinarian. This is a mixed animal clinic treating cats and dogs as well as horses and farm animals, with flexibility to accommodate either full-time or part-time candidates.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities, including routine and advanced clinical care across companion and large animal species. Daily duties will include a mix of medical cases and scheduled surgeries within a busy walk-in environment. The position is open to experienced veterinarians only, with doctor hours open to discussion.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, remaining closed on Sundays. It is a high-volume, walk-in general practice, offering a full scope of GP services alongside rehabilitation, reproduction, and orthopedic surgery. The clinic is equipped with advanced diagnostics including bloodwork, X-rays, and ultrasound. Located in Andrews, Texas, about 45 minutes northwest of Midland, the practice maintains a collaborative, high-energy, and growth-focused culture.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by strong technician and CSR staff. The environment is collaborative and fast-paced, with a strong emphasis on high-quality medicine, building client relationships, and supporting one another within a walk-in-based setting.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
