Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its team. In addition to dogs and cats, the hospital treats a wide range of exotic species, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to develop skills and experience that are not commonly available in general practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will undertake full general practice responsibilities in a fast-paced, supportive, and team-oriented environment. The clinical caseload includes wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery, with the tools and support available to deliver high-quality medicine. The opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates who are curious, collaborative, and keen to learn. Veterinarians early in their careers will be supported by doctors who enjoy mentoring, encourage questions, and work collaboratively so that no one is left to manage cases alone. This role would suit someone looking to build their confidence, expand their clinical skills, and potentially develop a particular interest in exotic animal medicine.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Services include wellness examinations, vaccinations, pet dental care, dental radiology, diagnostic testing, advanced diagnostic imaging, surgery, spaying and neutering, parasite prevention, microchipping, exotic pet care, senior pet care, acupuncture, laser therapy, and sick pet visits.

Team
The hospital has eight DVMs supported by a large support team. The working environment is collaborative and mentoring-focused, with experienced doctors available to provide guidance and support.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
