Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team, providing care for dogs and cats. The hospital offers a full scope of general practice services alongside a broad range of additional medical and surgical services, providing the incoming veterinarian with the opportunity to manage a varied caseload. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive patient care from diagnosis through treatment, building lasting relationships with clients and becoming a trusted partner throughout their pets’ lives. They will clearly communicate examination findings and treatment plans to clients, helping them make informed decisions about their pets’ care. The role provides exposure to general practice alongside disease and diagnostics management, surgery, emergency cases, sports medicine and rehabilitation, internal medicine, mass removals, and cystotomies. The veterinarian will work collaboratively with the wider hospital team while maintaining high standards of patient care and contributing to a positive working environment. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates will be considered for this opportunity.

Practice Details
The hospital provides a full scope of general practice services as well as disease and diagnostics management, surgery, emergency care, sports medicine and rehabilitation, internal medicine, mass removals, and cystotomies. The varied service offering provides veterinarians with opportunities to manage a broad range of medical and surgical cases while practicing with the freedom to uphold high standards of veterinary medicine. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Team
The hospital has a team of five DVMs alongside a great tenured support team. The working environment is collaborative, with veterinarians supported by a paraprofessional team and encouraged to contribute to a positive hospital culture while continuing to grow professionally.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
