Our client is a hospital providing care for dogs and cats and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available for an experienced veterinarian looking to practice in a collaborative hybrid general practice and emergency hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team while managing a diverse caseload supported by advanced technology and modern facilities.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical care across a varied caseload, including emergency, surgical, and general practice patients. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating companion animals, performing surgery, managing emergency presentations, delivering wellness and preventative care, and working closely with clients to develop treatment plans. The successful candidate will collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff in a mentorship-focused environment that encourages professional development, knowledge sharing, and clinical excellence. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian.

Practice Details
This hybrid general practice and emergency hospital has been serving Anderson, South Carolina, and the surrounding community since 1999. The hospital provides both primary care services, including wellness examinations, surgery, and chronic disease management, alongside secondary care such as urgent visits, hospitalisation, recovery support, and emergency medicine. The facility is equipped with digital radiography, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, photobiomodulation technology, and advanced surgical and diagnostic equipment, allowing the team to manage a broad range of medical and emergency cases. Services include wellness care, dentistry, surgery, diagnostics, emergency care, behavioural counselling, and puppy and kitten care. Hospital hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Team
The hospital is supported by a team of eight DVMs and a great tenured support staff who work together in a collaborative, respectful environment. The practice promotes mentorship, teamwork, and continuous professional growth, ensuring every team member is supported while delivering exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
