Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This is a well-equipped small animal hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventative care for dogs and cats. The team is focused on delivering high-quality medicine in a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. There are full-time and part-time opportunities available. There are no weekend or after-hours requirements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Clinical responsibilities include wellness care, surgery, and hospitalization for dogs and cats. The Associate Veterinarian will conduct comprehensive exams and medical work-ups, perform routine and advanced surgical procedures, provide preventative care, and manage hospitalized cases. The role also involves client communication, collaboration with the veterinary team, and delivering high standards of medical care across wellness, diagnostic, and surgical services.

Practice Details
This is a 17,000 square foot facility equipped with ultrasound, digital X-ray, digital dental X-ray, EKG, Tonopen, in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, in-house endoscopy, isolation ward, oxygen and transfusion therapy capabilities, and two surgical suites. The hospital offers advanced services including bone and joint surgery, orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, intensive care, and feline hyperthyroidism management. Preventative and primary care services include adult and senior wellness, immunizations, parasite control, weight management programs, dental care, wellness testing, and spay and neuter procedures. Boarding services are also available. The hospital emphasizes preventative medicine, dental health, and comprehensive diagnostic capabilities.

The hospital currently has 2 DVMs and a fantastic support team, creating a collaborative and team-oriented environment dedicated to delivering high standards of patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
