Joining this practice means becoming part of a close-knit team that’s looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join them on either a full-time or part-time basis. Caring for cats and dogs, the practice offers a varied caseload, modern facilities, and a supportive environment where you’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills while working alongside an experienced team.
Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll enjoy the full scope of GP responsibilities, managing a diverse caseload that includes preventative care, medical cases, surgery, and dentistry. You’ll work closely with the rest of the team to provide high-quality patient care while building lasting relationships with clients. Doctors work four 10-hour shifts each week, with the occasional Saturday shift, and benefit from zero on-call hours, helping to maintain an excellent work-life balance. Whether you’re an experienced veterinarian or a newer graduate, you’ll be supported within a collaborative practice that encourages professional development.
Practice Details
The practice is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. The hospital offers the full scope of GP services alongside Advanced Dental Care and Orthopedics, providing a varied and rewarding caseload. You’ll have access to Digital Radiology, Ultrasound, an In-House Laboratory, and Dental X-Ray to support your day-to-day clinical work. Facilities include an Isolation Ward, an Intensive Care Unit, an In-Office Surgical Suite, and an In-House Pharmacy, giving you everything needed to confidently manage both routine and more advanced cases. The practice is AAHA accredited and staffed by Fear Free Certified professionals, reflecting its commitment to delivering high-quality, low-stress patient care. In addition to its core veterinary services, the hospital also provides Animal Rehabilitation, Acupuncture, and Oxygen and Transfusion Therapy.
Team
You’ll be joining a team of 2 DVMs, supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who genuinely care about delivering exceptional patient care. The leadership team is invested in helping its veterinarians succeed, creating a collaborative environment where communication, teamwork, and professional growth are part of everyday practice. It’s a supportive team that works together to provide outstanding care while maintaining a positive and enjoyable workplace.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
