Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team. This is a full-time position working with dogs, cats, and a wide range of exotic species including avians, reptiles, small mammals and pot-bellied pigs. The practice is known for delivering high-quality, compassionate care within a collaborative environment that values strong client relationships and teamwork.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care including preventative medicine, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and treatment planning. Clinical responsibilities also include performing a wide variety of soft tissue and some orthopedic surgeries, as well as working with exotic species. The role involves collaborating closely with the team, educating clients, and delivering patient-centered care. Doctor hours follow a full-time schedule. This position is suited to a veterinarian who values teamwork, communication, and practicing thoughtful, high-quality medicine.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. The practice is equipped with a full in-house laboratory, digital radiography, dental X-ray, and ultrasound. Facilities support a wide range of services including preventative care, surgery, dentistry, in-house diagnostics, laser therapy, emergency care, end-of-life care, grooming, boarding, and dog training. The practice emphasizes a professional and organized environment designed to support high-quality medicine and efficient workflows, with a strong focus on collaboration and patient-centered care.
Team
The team consists of three DVMs supported by a collaborative and supportive staff, creating an environment focused on teamwork, communication, and delivering high-quality veterinary care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
