Our client is a hospital seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join its AAHA-accredited small animal practice. The hospital has been serving its community for decades and provides comprehensive veterinary care with a focus on wellness, preventative medicine, advanced diagnostics, surgery, urgent care, and acupuncture. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care across a varied small animal caseload, including wellness examinations, preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, client education, and urgent care. The role also offers opportunities to work with advanced orthopedic procedures, including TPLO and CCL repair, for veterinarians with an interest or prior experience in surgery. Responsibilities include building strong client relationships, communicating treatment plans, collaborating closely with the support team, and contributing to a positive hospital culture. The position is open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians, with a structured one-year mentorship programme available for new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and is closed on Sundays. As an AAHA-accredited practice, it provides wellness and preventative care, puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, parasite prevention, dermatology, nutrition, dentistry, urgent care, advanced diagnostics, cardiology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, acupuncture, pain management, OFA certification, health certificates, euthanasia services, microchipping, soft tissue surgery, TPLO, CCL repair, orthopedic surgery, dental surgery, spays and neuters, and mass removals. Diagnostic capabilities include blood and laboratory testing, digital radiography, ultrasound, electrocardiography, tonometry, and advanced anesthetic monitoring. The hospital features multiple exam rooms, dedicated treatment areas, surgical and dental facilities, in-house diagnostics, digital radiology, and efficient workflows designed to support excellent patient care, while fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes mentorship, continuous learning, and professional development.

Team
The hospital is staffed by four DVMs supported by an experienced technical team that provides assistance with anesthesia monitoring, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry, and workflow efficiency. The culture is collaborative, welcoming, and team-oriented, with a strong emphasis on communication, mutual respect, mentorship, and delivering exceptional patient and client care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
