Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital providing comprehensive veterinary care for cats and dogs and is currently hiring an Associate Veterinarian. The practice delivers a full range of general practice services with a strong focus on quality medicine and client care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The practice is closed on Wednesdays and Sundays. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and the role can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis, providing flexibility depending on the candidate’s availability.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves the full scope of general practice responsibilities, including wellness and preventative care, sick visits, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and diagnostic workups. The role is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is confident managing a varied GP caseload and delivering high-quality clinical care across routine and more complex cases.

Practice Details
The hospital sees an average daily patient volume of 30 or more patients per doctor and offers a full scope of general practice services, including laser therapy. The practice is equipped with ultrasound, therapy laser, x-ray, and additional modern diagnostic and treatment tools to support thorough and efficient patient care.

Team
The team currently consists of one DVM supported by a strong support staff structure with a 2:1 technician-to-doctor ratio, allowing the veterinarian to focus on clinical decision-making and patient care within a supportive working environment.
