Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. They are looking for a veterinarian committed to delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care while building strong relationships with clients and supporting the health and wellbeing of their patients.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The practice is closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care to a varied caseload of patients. The role involves conducting thorough examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing appropriate treatment plans. Responsibilities include performing routine surgical procedures, delivering preventive care and vaccinations, managing medical cases, prescribing medications, and maintaining accurate medical records in line with regulatory standards. The position also requires clear and compassionate communication with clients, ensuring pet owners understand diagnoses, treatment plans, and ongoing care requirements. You will collaborate closely with the wider clinical team to ensure efficient patient care while also participating in ongoing professional development to maintain clinical excellence. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Team
The hospital’s team consists of three DVMs supported by a team mixed of veterinary technicians and support staff. The team works collaboratively to provide efficient and compassionate patient care while maintaining a supportive and team-focused working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
