Introduction
Our client is a well-established small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, offering either full-time or part-time opportunities while providing care for dogs and cats.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care, including wellness exams, preventive care, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry. The role involves managing a diverse caseload that includes both routine and urgent cases, performing procedures such as soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, and utilizing diagnostic tools to support patient care. Strong client communication, accurate medical record keeping, and collaboration with the wider team are key aspects of the role. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available for those early in their careers.

Practice Details
The hospital has been serving its community for over 35 years and operates Monday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Tuesday from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, Wednesday from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm, Thursday to Saturday from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, and Sunday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. It is equipped with advanced technology including digital radiography, ultrasound, EKG, and supports hands-free radiology. Services offered include bone and joint surgery, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, preventive care, wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite control, weight management, allergy care, anesthesia, dental care and dental x-rays, full diagnostics, general surgery, geriatric medicine, hospice care, hospitalization, in-house laboratory and pharmacy, surgical suite, intensive care, internal medicine, isolation ward, pain management, radiology, routine surgeries, urology, and video otoscopy. The hospital is known for its supportive and collaborative culture and strong reputation within the community.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
