Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a practice seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The practice sees an exceptionally diverse range of species, including dogs, cats, horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, deer, pocket pets, wildlife and extensive exotics, providing a unique opportunity to work with a highly varied caseload.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role offers the full scope of GP responsibilities with strong mentorship and opportunities to work on an exceptionally diverse range of mixed animal and exotic cases. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills while working across a broad spectrum of species. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and the practice welcomes applications from both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The practice is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is also open two Saturdays per month. It is equipped with digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, in-house laboratories, therapy laser and stem cell therapy. The hospital provides the full scope of GP services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry, as well as orthopedic surgery, chiropractic care, acupuncture and reproduction services.

Team
The team consists of five DVMs supported by a strong support team, creating an environment where collaboration and mentorship are integral to the day-to-day practice.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
