Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited veterinary hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its established team. The practice focuses on high-quality small animal medicine while also providing care for exotic and pocket pets. The hospital offers a broad range of preventative, diagnostic, medical, surgical, and advanced services within a professional and collaborative environment that prioritizes patient-focused care and clinical excellence.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive patient care, managing cases from diagnosis through treatment while building long-term relationships with clients. Clinical responsibilities include wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, dermatology, cardiology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, exotic and pocket pet medicine, and surgical care. Surgical services include spay and neuter procedures, soft tissue surgery, mass removals, CCL repair, TPLO, orthopedic surgery, and dental surgery. The veterinarian will communicate findings and treatment plans clearly with clients, collaborate closely with the wider hospital team, and contribute to a positive working environment while maintaining high standards of medicine.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The practice is AAHA accredited and provides comprehensive small animal care supported by digital radiography, ultrasound, blood and laboratory testing, and modern anesthetic monitoring. Services include wellness and preventative medicine, vaccinations, parasite control, dentistry, dermatology, nutrition, senior care, euthanasia, microchipping, diagnostics, cardiology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, health certificates, OFA certification, exotic and pocket pet care, boarding, and advanced surgical procedures. The hospital also has access to internal specialty consultations and continuing education resources to support complex cases and ongoing clinical development.

Team
The hospital has eight DVMs working alongside a supportive paraprofessional team. The environment is collaborative and professionally focused, with an emphasis on teamwork, medical quality, continuing education, and career development. Veterinarians have access to mentorship, specialty consultation, and wider professional resources to support both day-to-day case management and longer-term career progression.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
