Introduction
Our client is a full-service small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team. They provide care for dogs and cats through both primary care and urgent care services, creating a dynamic clinical environment where no two days are the same. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys variety, collaboration, and the ability to practice high-quality medicine in a supportive and well-equipped setting.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Primary care services are offered Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., while urgent care services are available seven days a week from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. The role may accommodate full-time or part-time scheduling, depending on the candidate’s preferences and interests across primary care, urgent care, or a blend of both. No additional after-hours responsibilities are required beyond the hospital’s established operating times.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves providing high-quality veterinary care across wellness and prevention, diagnostics, rehabilitation, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care. You will support both routine and same-day medical needs while fostering strong relationships with pet owners through clear communication and compassionate guidance. The role offers flexibility for veterinarians interested in primary care, urgent care, or a combination of both. It is open to both new graduates and experienced doctors, supported by a strong clinical team and an environment built around collaboration and professional development.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a wide range of services including wellness and preventative care, testing and diagnostics, rehabilitation, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care. A robust infrastructure supports efficient case management and provides the tools needed for delivering consistent, high-standard medical care. The practice culture emphasizes teamwork, clear communication, and a proactive approach to patient care, ensuring that veterinarians can confidently navigate varied and sometimes complex clinical scenarios.

The practice is home to 3 DVMs, supported by a brilliant and dedicated paraprofessional team. The environment is collaborative, learning-focused, and designed to help veterinarians thrive across both primary care and urgent care settings.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
