Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian (general practice and urgent care hybrid role) to join their team, providing care for dogs and cats. This role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis and offers a dynamic mix of general practice and urgent care within a collaborative environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a hybrid caseload consisting of scheduled wellness and sick visits alongside urgent care walk-in cases. Responsibilities include performing physical exams, diagnostics, medical workups, soft tissue surgeries, and delivering preventive care and dentistry. The role emphasizes diagnostic problem solving, high-quality patient care, and building long-term client relationships. Veterinarians will collaborate closely with the team while maintaining a balanced workload that avoids the demands of a traditional emergency schedule. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday to Sunday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with urgent care services available on weekends during the same hours. The practice offers comprehensive services including preventive and wellness care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, urgent care, and advanced diagnostics. Additional services include cardiology, oncology and chemotherapy, dermatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, ophthalmology, radiology, laboratory diagnostics, nutritional counseling, pain management, anesthesia, orthopedic and laser surgery, and referral services. The hybrid model provides a diverse and engaging caseload in a supportive and collaborative setting, promoting work-life balance while delivering high-quality care.

The team consists of 1 DVM supported by a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
