Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a privately owned, family-run animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated and compassionate team. The clinic provides care for small animals and prides itself on delivering high-quality, personalized service with a strong emphasis on client relationships and patient comfort. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with one of the current doctors offering mentorship and support for those early in their career.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with Sundays closed. Appointment times range from 30 to 45 minutes to allow for thorough, unhurried care and to maintain their strong focus on client service and individualized attention.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a diverse range of cases including wellness examinations, surgery, spaying and neutering, parasite prevention, dermatology, dentistry, and general medicine. The role also includes performing diagnostics and developing treatment plans using the hospital’s in-house laboratory and imaging tools. This position is open to both new graduates seeking mentorship and experienced veterinarians looking to join a supportive, service-oriented team.

Practice Details
The hospital features four exam rooms, an Abaxis in-house laboratory, and touch-screen computers in every exam room. Equipment includes ultrasound, laser therapy, and both digital and dental X-ray capabilities. Services offered encompass surgery, wellness care, parasite prevention, dermatology, dental procedures, vaccinations, and laser therapy. The hospital’s strong community reputation is reflected in being voted Best Vet in Northern Kentucky in both 2021 and 2022, with another nomination in progress this year.

Team
The practice currently has two doctors supported by six to seven staff members per day. The team operates within a collaborative and friendly environment that values teamwork, mentorship, and client-centered care, making it a welcoming workplace for veterinarians at any stage of their career.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
