Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This is a full-service general practice clinic that provides care for cats and dogs.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm and on Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The doctors work either 8- or 10-hour shifts, with rotating weekends when needed. The role is offered as full-time, but part-time applicants will also be considered.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The position involves working within a full-service general practice environment. The hospital is open to applications from both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA-accredited and operates as a full-service general practice. It is equipped with modern veterinary technology, including digital radiography and ultrasound. Hands-free radiology is used to ensure the safest techniques for both patients and staff. The team is committed to applying fear-free techniques whenever possible. The hospital promotes a supportive and collaborative work environment where veterinarians work alongside a dynamic group of skilled professionals.

Team
The hospital has a team of five doctors, supported by a strong group of staff with an excellent technician-to-doctor ratio. This ensures a collaborative and well-supported clinical environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
