Introduction
Our client is a hospital for Cats, Dogs, and occasionally Exotics that is hiring an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. Established in 1997, the practice has built a strong reputation within the community while providing a supportive and professional environment for both clients and team members. This opportunity would suit a veterinarian looking to join an established practice offering a varied caseload and strong clinical support.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing a full scope of general practice services, including wellness and preventative care, medical consultations, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care cases. The role offers exposure to a varied caseload within a collaborative clinical setting, with specific doctor hours to be discussed and no weekend responsibilities required. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are encouraged to apply, with mentorship that is individualized, practical, and rooted in decades of experience. Veterinarians joining the team will benefit from strong support, shared knowledge, and ongoing opportunities to continue developing their clinical skills and confidence.

Practice Details
The hospital offers urgent care alongside a full scope of GP services and is equipped with modern diagnostic technology, including but not limited to digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, digital x-ray, and an in-house laboratory. Facilities also include an in-house pharmacy, supporting efficient workflow and comprehensive patient care within the practice. In addition to veterinary services, the hospital also provides pet boarding services for clients. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm and is closed on weekends, supporting a consistent schedule and strong work-life balance for the team. The practice environment encourages collaboration, efficiency, and continued professional growth while allowing veterinarians to work closely with experienced colleagues and support staff.

Team
The team includes four DVMs, including two veterinarians with over 40 years of private practice experience, creating a highly experienced and supportive clinical environment. The hospital is also supported by experienced and long-tenured staff, including an RVT, a skilled technician and assistant team, and a dedicated client service team. The collaborative atmosphere and depth of experience within the hospital provide excellent support for both experienced veterinarians and those looking to further develop their clinical skills through mentorship and shared knowledge.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
