Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The practice provides care for cats and dogs and is looking for a veterinarian to become part of its general practice team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves providing the full scope of general practice veterinary care, including wellness and preventative medicine, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to see walk-in emergency cases as part of the caseload. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with doctor hours open to discussion. There is no weekend working.

Practice Details
The hospital offers a full scope of GP services, including wellness, preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, and orthopedics. The practice is equipped with ultrasound, in-house laboratory facilities, and digital x-ray technology to support patient care. In addition to routine appointments, the hospital also sees walk-in emergency cases. Opening hours are Monday 9:00am–5:00pm, Tuesday 9:00am–5:00pm, Wednesday 9:00am–12:00pm, Thursday 9:00am–5:00pm, Friday 9:00am–5:00pm, with the practice closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

You will be supported by a great team of support staff, creating an environment that enables veterinarians to deliver high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
