Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a small-animal hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This opportunity is open to both full-time and part-time candidates, working exclusively with cats and dogs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities, including routine and preventative care, diagnostics, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery. The position is suited to an experienced veterinarian, with doctor hours open to discussion to accommodate individual preferences and scheduling needs.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday through Sunday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. It is equipped with digital radiography, a dental suite, an in-house pharmacy, diagnostics, and surgical support systems. The practice offers wellness and preventive care, dentistry, diagnostics, and soft tissue surgery. It is a well-established, full-service small-animal hospital serving the southern New Mexico community with a focus on compassion, efficiency, and strong medical standards.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by strong technician and assistant support per doctor, fostering an efficient and well-supported working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
