Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, with flexibility for either full-time or part-time hours. The practice sees cats and dogs and is seeking a veterinarian to support its growing caseload, which includes both general practice and urgent care services.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be expected to manage a varied caseload, providing high-quality care across wellness, diagnostics, and treatment. Shifts are typically from 10am to 7pm, though there is flexibility for discussion. The position is open to experienced veterinarians only, with a preference for those with 2 or more years of clinical experience.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and is closed on weekends. It is a well-equipped facility committed to providing exceptional veterinary care, featuring digital x-ray, advanced diagnostics, in-house labs, and modern treatment and surgical suites. The practice offers a full scope of general practice services in addition to urgent care, supporting a diverse and engaging caseload.

Team
The team consists of 1 DVM supported by experienced veterinary technicians and support staff. The environment is positive and team-oriented, allowing doctors to focus on medicine while being supported by a skilled and dedicated staff.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
