Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their busy, progressive, and well-established practice, working with dogs and cats, exotics, and wildlife on either a full-time or part-time basis. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care, including performing complete diagnostic workups, physical exams, and developing comprehensive treatment plans. Responsibilities include surgery, dental procedures, preventative care, and ongoing case management, as well as prescribing medications and maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with regulations. The role also involves strong client communication, educating pet owners on diagnoses and treatment plans, and building lasting relationships. Veterinarians will collaborate closely with the team, participate in meetings, and contribute to maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized clinical environment. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
This well-established practice has been serving the community since 2003 and offers a diverse caseload including dogs, cats, exotics, and wildlife. The hospital is equipped with in-house diagnostics, advanced surgical capabilities, dental services, and specialized exotic medicine, with two dedicated surgery suites supporting high-quality care. The practice operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. Services include wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention, microchipping, nutrition and weight management, and comprehensive in-house laboratory testing for early detection and ongoing care. Team
The team consists of 8 DVMs and a great tenured support team, fostering a highly collaborative, supportive, and team-oriented environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
