Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their small animal team, providing care for cats and dogs. The position can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis, providing flexibility depending on the candidate’s preferences and availability.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of general practice responsibilities. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with doctor hours open to discussion. There are no weekend requirements.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and is closed on weekends. The state-of-the-art veterinary facility is thoughtfully designed and impeccably maintained, offering a welcoming space for pets and their families. The hospital is well equipped with cutting-edge technology, including in-house diagnostics, radiology, ultrasound, a fully equipped dental and surgical suite, and a recovery center. Boarding and grooming services are also available. The hospital provides the full scope of general practice services, including wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry.

Team
The hospital has a team of four DVMs supported by a well-trained and dedicated support team. A 2:1 support staff ratio ensures veterinarians have strong assistance in delivering patient care. The close-knit staff enjoys a positive work environment with weekly incentives, monthly check-ins, and a supportive team dynamic.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
