Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis, providing care for cats and dogs. This is an opportunity to work in an AAHA-accredited practice focused on high-quality urgent care within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage a varied urgent care caseload, delivering timely and effective treatment for cats and dogs. Responsibilities include performing diagnostics, developing treatment plans, and providing preventative, medical, and surgical care where appropriate. You will communicate clearly with clients, educate them on care plans, and maintain accurate medical records while adhering to clinical protocols. Collaboration with the wider veterinary and support team is essential, as is contributing to an efficient workflow and high standard of patient care. This position is open to experienced veterinarians who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting and those looking to take the step into a faster environment, but are looking for support and mentorship with this.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited hospital is dedicated to compassionate, client-centered care and operates with a strong focus on teamwork and work-life balance. Services offered include urgent care, diagnostics, surgery, dental services, preventative care, pain management, and care for puppies, kittens, and senior pets. The hospital is trained in Fear-Free and Low-Stress Handling principles to ensure a calm and safe environment for patients. A strong technician-to-doctor ratio supports efficient workflow and high-quality care delivery. The hospital operates Monday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, Tuesday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Wednesday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs and a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
