Callum Browse
Founder & CEO
Callum is the founder and CEO of Tempus International. After completing university in, Callum worked as a sales rep for a couple of independent companies before entering the world of recruitment in 2015. In the words of Callum ‘you either catch the recruitment bug or you don’t’ but thankfully for him, he did and just three years later he founded Tempus International.
As CEO, Callum’s role is managing the overall operations and resources of the company across the UK and USA. Callum has clients who he’s known since joining the industry and see’s recruitment as a ‘people business’ and loves the fact he’s built lasting relationships with clients and candidates alike.
In his spare time, Callum enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and loves taking to the golf course (either in the UK or USA). He’s had to unfortunately take a step back from rugby over the years but where he can, he likes to get back on the field.
Gerry Bowden-Thomson
Director of Veterinary Recruitment – USA Division
Gerry came onboard in July 2020 as the first Recruitment Consultant in our USA Division, having previously worked within the HR industry across numerous sectors. However, since joining, Gerry has been instrumental in establishing Tempus Recruitment in the USA market and has quickly progressed through the company now leading the USA Division.
As well as handling our recruitment efforts across the Southeast states, Gerry also works closely with the CEO to establish the direction of the business. He has a talent for connecting with candidates and clients alike, and to this day, he still believes the feeling of finding a candidate their perfect role, or helping a client find their next superstar, is unlike any other.
Outside of work, Gerry is a sporting fanatic! Whether its playing tennis in a local league or beating the rest of his team at go-karting, this is certainly where his competitive side comes out!
Abby Hoffman
Senior Recruitment and Development Lead
Abby joined Tempus Recruitment in February 2022. She previously worked as an English teacher in Fuzhou, China where she lived for several years with her husband. Before that, Abby studied English Language and Linguistics at the University of Essex where she graduated with a First-Class honours degree.
Abby is our Senior Recruiter and Development Lead for our USA Division. She brings a positive energy into the office and always has a smile on her face! Every client and candidate she speaks to instantly takes a shine to her!
She has a huge passion for travelling and exploring new cultures, which is evident by the fact she has already visited 30 countries (and counting!). In addition to being well-travelled, Abby is also married to an American, so she is an expert in all things “USA” which comes in handy from time to time. In her spare time, she is continuing to learn Mandarin Chinese and loves taking her little dog Lulu out on adventures.
Stacey Pearse
Recruitment Consultant
Stacey joined Tempus Recruitment in April 2022. She previously worked as a HR Business Partner within an in-house recruitment team for 2 years before taking the leap into recruiting veterinarians across the USA (and we’re so pleased she did!). She has a personality like no other and loves taking part in the Veterinary conventions across the USA where both clients and candidates have instantly connected with her.
When asked why she made the decision to move into the Veterinary sector she said ‘I felt like I needed a change in my career. I have never worked in agency recruitment before and the challenge excited me! The fact that it was veterinarians in America made it even better! I have always had a love for animals so talking to veterinarians whose job it is to look after animals day in and day out meant I could merge my love for animals with my job and speak to like-minded people’.
Stacey has a little fur baby of her own called ‘Bear’ who is a cheeky Cockapoo; she enjoys taking him on adventures with her fiancé and finding new hidden places to explore! However, with this comes to a lot of dog baths because some of Bear’s favourite things are mud and water!
Vicki Gerry
Recruitment Consultant
We welcomed Vicki back in September 2022. Vicki joined our Tempus family after working in the banking industry for over 10 years and now recruits DVMs across the East Coast.
It’s safe to say that from the moment Vicki stepped into the office, she has fitted in; with her personality and love for dogs, she has been an instant hit! Vicki loves the variety that her role brings, with no day being the same.
Vicki has a love for dogs like no other and has re-homed the beautiful Freya with her partner Mark (which you can see on her LinkedIn page!) however, Freya is definitely a mummy’s girl – she has such a beautiful temperament and has made an office appearance on several occasions.
In her spare time, Vicki loves to spend time with her family and friends, whether this is out and about for walks or just catching up over dinner. Vicki also loves to travel and tries to get away on a sneaky holiday as many times as she can!
Evie Godwin
Recruitment Consultant
After finishing college in June 2023, Evie started her career here at Tempus. She is the youngest recruiter in our office but has taken to the industry as though she was made for it.
What we love about Evie is that there was no hesitation when it came to getting ‘stuck in’. She’s already travelled with the team to various shows and client visits and has loved the dynamic of talking and meeting with clients and candidates face to face.
When Evie started with Tempus, we had a feeling she would be a perfect fit for our office and it’s evident that with her personality, work ethic, enthusiasm and love for snacks (mostly chocolate) she has added that ‘something extra’ to our team. It’s certainly no secret that Evie is a snacker so whether you’re after chocolate, crackers, popcorn, she’s got your covered. In her spare time, Evie likes to stay active and enjoys spending time at the gym. She’s a social butterfly and loves seeing friends, whether that’s going to the beach or having a catch up over a cheeky little drink.
Clark Hale
Recruitment Consultant
Clark joined us in February 2025. After spending the past three years living in Malta and working as an Account Manager, he decided to move back home and thankfully found us! A keen traveller, Clark certainly won’t be a stranger at veterinary conferences in the future. He brings with him a wealth of experience from working across various industries and even spent some time building a house!
Although this is Clark’s first time stepping into recruitment, he seems to be the perfect fit for our team so we’re looking forward to seeing what his future at Tempus holds.
Outside of work, Clark stays busy and enjoys football, live music and puzzles (to name a few)! However, we do feel like we need to keep a close eye on him seeing as he’s broken over 50 bones in his body, thanks to growing up on a skateboard – so if you see him on one, maybe take it off him!
Sian Goss
Recruitment Consultant
Sian is our newest team member! She joined us in March 2025 and like many others in our team, she is fresh into recruitment (but you wouldn’t know it!). Sian has two beautiful dogs; a Labrador named Penny and a Husky named Bear so weekend adventures with these two are key!
Prior to joining Tempus, Sian spent most of her time working in funeral care across various roles, so the leap into recruitment has been quite the change but one she’s fully embraced.
Outside of work Sian loves to read which is the perfect down time hobby for life in recruitment. We also spotted a strong competitive streak early on which we love, so it’ll be interesting to see how she fares in our competitive team quizzes and activities. We’re confident that Sian’s made the right choice in joining Tempus, and we can’t wait to see her career evolve!
Jake Gordon
Recruitment Support Staff
Jake is one of the youngest members in our Tempus family. He came on board in June 2024 to support our USA Division and has dived in head first into recruitment; having already travelled and assisting us with veterinary conferences, we’re very much looking forward to seeing what the future has in store for him. He’s bought a whole new vibe to the team which we love, as well as stories of his gorgeous little Cockapoo called Monty.
Jake very much enjoys outdoor sports such as surfing and skiing so when it came to him joining in the first team day out (which was Go Karting) he beat everyone! There was certainly no holding back and we love someone with a competitive streak.
As well as enjoying outdoor sports, Jake enjoys learning a new skill and as such, has taught himself to speak Italian! Very cool indeed.
Ryan Hoffman
Recruitment Support Staff
Ryan joined Tempus in April 2023 to originally assist our UK division however, his time is now spilt between across the UK and USA division. Having actually grew up in America, we feel very lucky to have him as part of the Tempus family as he has knowledge of both sides of the pond! He is also an Excel pro which is thankfully, where he spends most of his time.
Outside of work, he enjoys time with his wife and is known for playing a round of golf or two! Which incidentally, the boss also loves so we need to get them both on the green to see who comes out on top.
Ryan also worked as a mixologist and is a dab hand when it comes to cocktail making! Handy for our office Christmas parties!
Samantha Atkinson
Accounts Assistant
Samantha is our Accounts Assistant. She joined Tempus in April 2023 and honestly, we don’t know what we’d do without her. She is hard working, has a shining personality and just radiates an energy that we love.
After taking a career break to raise and spend time with her two sons, Samantha has come back into the working world and is slowly increasing her workload and days in the office which is fantastic for us as she excels at what she does. In short, if Samantha is off for a day, we notice it.
Samantha loves a spot of baking and has been known to bring in the odd cake or two which as a team, we will never say no too. She is also an organisation queen and loves a label maker so you can imagine how organised her desk is.
Daisey-May Browse
Chief Marketing Officer
Daisey has technically been a part of the Tempus family since the beginning, however, she only officially came on board in 2022. Having previously worked in the corporate sector and hospitality industry, she has experience in multiple areas of management and now manages our Marketing and Social media pages.
After welcoming her daughter in July 2023 and taking a year off, Daisey returned to Tempus life and is adjusting to the new dynamic of parenthood and work life which she loves.
Daisey loves a bit of creativity but also loves a bit of organisation so if anything needs a new home in the office or unpacking/organising, she’s on it. She loves a spot of baking (brownies being her speciality) so these will often make an appearance because let’s be honest, who needs a reason to eat cake?
