Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates seven days a week, providing continuous specialty and emergency services. This is a full-time role for a Veterinary Surgeon, offering a consistent schedule with access to advanced resources and a fully staffed support team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with board certification or residency training to deliver high-level surgical care. Clinical responsibilities include performing a broad range of complex surgical procedures, from elective surgeries and sports medicine cases to total hip replacements and open-heart surgeries. The role involves working closely with clients to provide thorough pre-surgical evaluations, discussing diagnostic tests, procedures, risks, and expected outcomes. Surgeons also collaborate with specialists in critical care, cardiology, oncology, neurology, and dentistry to provide comprehensive care. A strong commitment to patient safety, pain management, continuous monitoring, and post-operative success is essential.

Practice Details
The hospital features a 16,000-square-foot, custom-designed specialty center with three advanced surgical suites. Facilities are equipped with the latest surgical, anesthesia, and monitoring equipment, along with laminar flow operating rooms and digital video arthroscopy units. Diagnostic capabilities include ultrasound, C-Arm, 64-slice CT, MRI, and two digital radiology suites, supported by skilled radiologists for advanced interpretation. With a specialized pharmacy, in-house labs, and a separate emergency and critical care area, the hospital ensures comprehensive surgical and post-operative care. Services include anesthesia and pain management, sterilization techniques, surgical lasers, continuous patient monitoring, and individualized post-operative care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
