Job Description

This presents an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Surgeon to embark on a ground-floor endeavor, not only enjoying the idyllic setting but also realizing their vision of a dream practice. They will join a team of like-minded specialists dedicated to delivering progressive veterinary care in a boutique hospital setting.
Since its establishment in 2002 as the first specialty and emergency practice in Santa Barbara, the organization has consistently upheld the highest standards of patient care and service. Success in this role hinges on the ability to connect with clients, fostering an environment conducive to long-term relationships. Effective communication with referral veterinarians within the local veterinary community is paramount to the hospital’s prosperity.
Housed within a historical building, which once served as a speakeasy, is a 6,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility boasting two surgical suites, ultrasound capabilities, a tower equipped for laparoscopy/arthroscopy and endoscopy, and three oxygen cages. Furthermore, there’s a spacious shared doctor’s office promoting teamwork among peers while allowing for focused administrative tasks. The veterinary team comprises a board-certified Internist, Criticalist, four Emergency doctors, and dedicated, surgery-trained RVTs.
