Introduction
Our client is a 24-hour specialty and emergency hospital seeking a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join their expanding surgical team. This role is open to board-certified surgeons or surgical residency-trained clinicians with a passion for delivering advanced surgical care to cats and dogs in a collaborative, specialty-driven environment.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position within a hospital that operates 24/7/365, ensuring round-the-clock emergency and specialty coverage.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinary Surgeon will handle a diverse range of surgical cases, including both elective and non-elective procedures such as C-sections, dental surgery, ocular procedures, orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO), and tibial tuberosity advancement (TTA). Surgeons also serve as a resource for primary care veterinarians, providing consultations on unusual or complex cases. This position is suited for experienced surgeons only.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic and surgical facilities, including diagnostic ultrasound, in-house laboratories, MRI, CT scan, fluoroscopy, and a fully equipped rehabilitation department. The practice culture is collaborative and specialist-led, with a strong focus on delivering the best outcomes through advanced medicine and surgery.

Team
The surgical team works closely alongside board-certified specialists in internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, and dermatology, as well as an experienced emergency team and dedicated support staff. The environment is highly collaborative, supportive, and committed to exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
