Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinary Ophthalmologist to join their diverse and long-established practice. The hospital treats dogs, cats, exotics, equine, and farm animals, and is looking for a board-eligible Ophthalmologist to expand their specialty services within a collaborative multi-disciplinary environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open 24/7/365. Specific doctor hours are open to discussion and flexible scheduling is available.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing ophthalmology services within a full-service hospital that includes emergency, general practice, and specialty care. Clinical responsibilities include working with a varied caseload and practicing alongside specialists in surgery, cardiology, dermatology, behavior medicine, and ophthalmology. Additional clinical departments within the hospital include emergency and urgent care, general practice, surgery, dental care, ultrasound, rhinoscopy, endoscopy, oncology, and theriogenology. The position is suitable for a board-eligible Ophthalmologist seeking a supportive, collaborative environment.

The hospital is an AAHA-accredited facility founded in the early 1900s with a strong community reputation. It provides general practice, emergency, and specialty care for companion animals, exotics, equine, and farm animals, along with boarding and grooming services. Facilities and services include annual health exams, vaccinations, senior pet programs, dental care programs, laboratory services, weight loss programs, orthopedic services, cardiology services, ophthalmology services, behavior consultations, dog reproduction services, ultrasound, endoscopy, rhinoscopy, stem cell therapy, dermatology, I-131 treatment for hyperthyroid cats, clinical trials, hospital boarding, pharmacy services, and a prescription food store. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
