Veterinary Oncologist (Veterinary Specialist)

This hospital, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico is looking to add a board-certified or residency-trained Radiation Oncologist to their team! They are a hybrid hospital, meaning they offer both specialty and primary care services. Talking with your patient’s primary veterinarian can be as easy as walking down the hall or waving across the office- no phone calls or emails necessary. They have specialists in emergency and critical care, oncology, ophthalmology, radiology and surgery. On the support staff side, they have an experienced patient care team, a phenomenal client service team, and the best referral management department in the country. They are a 22,000 square foot facility with a centrally-located ICU and separate entrances, lobbies, and exam rooms for their primary care and referral services. Their hospital is AAHA-accredited, and they are an AAFP Gold Cat-Friendly Practice. There are private doctors’ offices and separate treatment areas for ECC, specialty services, and primary care. They have dedicated suites for ultrasound, endoscopy, specialty surgery, oncology, primary care procedures, and I-131 treatment. They also offer state-of-the-art equipment for imaging (soon to include a 128-slice CT scanner), endoscopy, traditional and minimally-invasive surgery, and patient monitoring.
