Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinary Internist to join their advanced, collaborative team. This position is ideal for a board-certified or residency-trained Internist looking to work in a dynamic environment that offers a mix of general and specialty medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, seven days a week, with 24-hour patient support. Both full-time and part-time availability is offered, providing flexibility for the right candidate.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The internist will be responsible for a full range of internal medicine duties within a busy hospital setting. The role is open to board-certified or residency-trained Internists only and is best suited for those looking to practice advanced medicine within a multidisciplinary team.

Practice Details
The hospital operates out of a 16,000 square foot AAHA-accredited facility that includes 11 exam rooms, CT, ultrasound, digital radiography, endoscopy, therapeutic laser, and an in-house laboratory. The hospital offers a broad range of services including surgery, oncology, internal medicine, and radiology, supported by both general and specialty teams.

Team
The team includes 10 DVMs and a support staff of 40, fostering a highly collaborative and supportive environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
