Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital preparing to launch its newest location in Atlanta, Georgia and is seeking a Veterinary Criticalist to join their team. It will be located near the Brookhaven and North Druid Hills regions. This hospital will treat small animals and is part of a veterinary-owned and led organization that prioritizes clinical excellence and offers unique shareholder opportunities for doctors.

Working Hours / Rota
It will operate as a 24/7 emergency and multi-specialty facility. The role is open to both full-time and part-time applicants. Specific hospital and doctor hours are open to discussion as the hospital has not opened yet.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position includes all typical duties and responsibilities within an emergency and specialty care environment. Typical responsibilities may include triage and stabilization, diagnostics, emergency procedures, surgical intervention, critical care management, and client communication.

Practice Details
The hospital will be a 20,000 sq ft, state-of-the-art facility designed to support advanced emergency and specialty services. The culture emphasizes collaboration, clinical excellence, and continuous medical advancement, supported by a veterinary-led leadership structure.

Team
You would be joining another Criticalist in the critical care department in the hospital, alongside a fantastic team of support staff.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
